Orthopedics, Regenerative Medicine.
Professionally, I deal with orthopaedics for adults and children, advanced ultrasound of the musculoskeletal system and orthopedic regenerative medicine.
I graduated from medical studies at the Faculty II - Medical University of Silesia in Katowice.
I worked at the Provincial Hospital in Katowice in the trauma and orthopaedic department and at the same time in the Provincial Orthopedic Clinic for children and adults, where I completed specialisation in orthopaedics.
Scope of my professional activity:
- Orthopedic regenerative medicine (PRP - treatment with platelet-rich plasma, growth factors, collagen preparations, bone marrow cells, other modern regeneration agents).
- Orthopedic consultations for adults, adolescents, children, infants and newborns.
- Advanced ultrasound of the musculoskeletal system - joints, tendons, muscles, ligaments, ultrasound and neurophysiological diagnostics of peripheral nerves.
- Diagnostics and treatment of postural defects in children and adolescents.
- Ultrasound diagnosis and treatment of hip joints in newborns and infants.
- Consultations on orthopaedic surgical procedures for adults and children.
- Professional reports and medico-legal consultations.
- Orthopedic supplies for individual patients.
- Qualifications for surgical procedures - in cooperating hospitals.
MY MAIN AREA OF INTERESTS AND PROFESSIONAL WORK ARE:
1. REGENERATIVE MEDICINE OF THE MUSCULAR ORGANS.
It's scope includes:
- therapy with platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and growth factors [GF] and combined therapies, including Collagen preparations in injections
- the use of combined therapies - bioregenerative - multi-component - leading to effective stem cell treatment (STEM CELL)
- PRP or PRP treatment & combined therapies under the guidance of high-resolution ultrasound, using implications with variable motion paths
together with the collaborating team, the use of PRP from bone marrow and other dedicated cells in bioregenerative stem cell treatment
2. ADVANCED ULTRASONOGRAPHIC DIAGNOSTICS OF THE MUSCULAR SYSTEM.
To include: joints, muscles, tendons, ligaments, peripheral nerves, dynamic tests of muscle-tendon complexes
diagnosis and treatment of hip joints in infants
punctures and biopsies under ultrasound guidance
I use Color, HD Color, Power and Elastography Doppler applications - where it is useful in the diagnosis of the musculoskeletal system
I have been completing several years of development internship under the supervision of the Scientific Committee - European Society of Musculosceletal Radiology.
Both areas of interest become helpful in the proper treatment of people practicing sports professionally and amateurly.
